Hi To All Family Members and NOK’s
As you are aware the government and the DOH have changed the requirements for COVID-19 positive cases. It is no longer a legal requirement for people to isolate in the public setting.
The requirement for aged care visiting still remain that if you are COVID-19 positive not to visit until 7 days after testing positive and you have no symptoms of COVID-19.
Also, anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or is a close contact of someone with COVID-19 should not visit residential aged care facilities.
Visitations to aged care facilities still require a negative RAT test before each visit and the wearing of masks.
These are the latest updates from the DOH Victoria as of the 12 October 2022. If you have any question or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you
