Dear community members,

Unfortunately there has been a case of a Melbourne worker testing positive for COVID-19 who worked in Hamilton. As a precaution Edgarley has gone into a Lockdown for one week starting 22/9/2021.

Therefore there will be no visitation allowed during this week. Nursing home residents will be unable to leave the facility at this time.

: It has been identified that a number of staff visited Hamilton between 14th -19th September. Staff have all been advised to be tested and isolate until the test results are returned.

If this lockdown is extended we will let you all know.

This decision has not been made lightly as we only have our residents’ wellbeing in our thoughts.

Please be patient and understanding that we are acting in the best interests of our residents and staff.
