Edgarley Assisted Living is a legally accreditated aged care facility. Under our obligations and responsibilities under the Aged Care Act, we are required to obtain and maintain our accreditation. Edgarley Assisted Living is audited every three years to retain that accreditation.

An accreditation audit by the Australian Government's Australian Aged Care Quality Agency (AACQA) was conducted in October 2018.

As part of the new assessment process, Edgarley does not receive notification of when an audit will take place with the AACQA making unannounced visits. The next review is due to take place in 2021. At that time, Edgarley will endeavour to notify residents' families of the audit so they have the opportunity to meet with them if they desire to.
